Is it possible to put a red filter between the housing and the wide angle wet lens?

In most cases, yes!

The standard red filter we carry (67mm and 52mm) is double threaded, so you can mount it on the port and mount an additional lens in front of it.

The caveats are that it reduces some of the light so requires higher ISO, and in some cases the lenses are so heavy, that it can jeopardize the threading itself and can strip it after a while.
