If you are only starting out with underwater macro photography, we would recommend getting an entry level macro lens.
Macro lenses, AKA diopters or close up lens, vary in magnification power and optical quality. Some common diopters include +6, +10, +12, +15 etc. The higher the number, the stronger the lens and also, the harder it would be to shoot with it!
Our most popular entry level lens is the Inon UCL-165 +6 lens. You can find it here.
Fantasea also has a quality macro wet lens with a +6 diopter which is also a great option.
Using a stronger diopter might be difficult for beginners to use and most likely you will not get good shots with it.
That being said, if you have epic buoyancy skills (such as scuba instructors or divers with over 1000 dives) you might be able to manage a stronger diopter from the start and grow into it. In that case you can consider a +10, +12 or even +15.
