This week’s featured photographer is Abi Smigel Mullens!

About Abi:

Abi Smigel Mullens has been diving since 1994 and started shooting stills underwater that same year, albeit with a camera much smaller and simpler from what she currently uses now. A budding photographer and dually fascinated with marine life, underwater photography married the two interests that bubbled up above the others from an early age.

Currently Abi is a professional underwater photographer who shoots marine life imagery as well as kids underwater portraits through her California based business Sea Star Underwater Portraits. Additionally she is the associate editor for Wetpixel. Currently a PADI scuba instructor, Abi has certified hundreds of divers and specializes in teaching underwater photography.
