Snorkels
A snorkel is not a must item for the average underwater photographer. But... it comes in very handy when you want to practice. For scuba, you need depth and you need a buddy but if you have a shallow reef to practice on, some weights and a snorkel, you can really master your underwater photography skills on your own. I've been doing that for years at the red sea where there are many reefs close to the shore. Below are a few snorkels I've used and know they are very good.
