- This package comes with the latest addition to the Hydra series, the Kraken Hydra 8000 WRGBU mounted on a Flex-Arm single tray kit. This kit is perfect for compact camera users.
- The Hydra 8000 features 8000 lumens constant flood, and 10000 lumens burst mode using a fiber optic cable. With the 10,000 lumen burst, this light can be used as a strobe replacement for macro shooting.
- Aside from the impressive lumen output, this light also features a CSI of 90 and red and blue modes! The red mode can be used as a focus light and blue for fluorodiving.
- The tray and arm system that comes with this package is the Flex-Arm single tray. With its flexible arm, you can position your light however you want.
- The Flex-Arm single tray comes with a flex arm with a YS mount for the Hydra 8000 light, and a camera tray.

- In addition to this light's impressive lumen output, it also features a built in RGB LED’s which allows you to use red as a focus light, UV\Blue mode is also available for fluoro diving.
- All of these features are controlled by a simple button\dial combo switch on the rear. The Hydra 8000 also includes an LCD screen for monitoring important information such as power level, burn time remaining, and mode.
- Kraken also created a new feature for this light, the new Hydra 8000 has the ability to charge via USB C. The included charger contains 3 ports, with the capability to charge up to two batteries simultaneously. The charger is the latest in GaN technology, meaning it’s incredibly small, but still outputs 90 watts!
- Both ball and YS mounts are also included. This light is also remote control capable like all lights in the Hydra series, you just need to add the remote control and fiber optic cables.
