Weekly Featured Underwater Photographer – Asaf Elyahu!
Every week we will feature an underwater photographer who managed to leave us breathless.
This week’s feature is Asaf Elyahu!
About Asaf:
Asaf Elyahu (born in 1981) fell in love with the ocean when he was little, started diving from the age of 16, and never stopping since, he started underwater shooting with a pocket camera only two year ago, fascinated with the new hobby, he upgraded his gear 3 times since then. Never taking a photography lessons, he doesn’t consider himself as a “photographer”, he describes himself as an amateur with nice photos, who enjoy the challenge of capturing the right moment.
Asaf’s Gear:
Asaf uses an Olympus PEN E-PL3 mirrorless camera (Micro 4/3) in an Olympus housing.
For macro shots he uses the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 60mm f/2.8 ED Macro Lens and a +10 Subsee Wet Lens.
For wide angle shots he uses the Panasonic Lumix G Fisheye 8mm/F3.5 Lens.
His lighting set consists of two Sea & Sea YS-01 strobes.
