Sony Unveils 2 New Market Leaders – RX100 IV and A7RII

Sony has just announced two very exciting cameras – the Sony RX100 IV and the Sony A7RII!

Sony RX100 IV Underwater Housing, same as the RX100 III

The RX100 IV is the latest in the successful RX100 series. It inherits all the great features from its predecessor with some very important upgrades – Thanks to Sony’s world’s first 1.0″ type stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor, the RX100 IV is capable of 4K shooting, a feature which we are starting to see in many new high-end cameras lately, and an improved shutter capable of 16fps burst mode and max shutter speed of up to 1/32,000 (That’s fast enough to freeze a speeding bullet!). Speaking of bullets, the RX100 IV is also capable of Super Slow Motion videos up to 960fps!

The good news is that the RX100 IV shares the exact same design as the RX100 III, so although housing manufacturers haven’t announced it officially yet, we hope that it will fit in existing RX100 III underwater housings.

Sony A7RII Underwater Housing, same as the A7II

The Sony A7RII is basically an A7II on steroids. Sony has armed the A7RII with a 42MP Full-Frame Exmor R BSI CMOS Sensor, 4K video shooting, 5-Axis SteadyShot Stabilization rated at 4.5 stops, ultra fast AF, crazy low-light capabilities (ISO 102,400) and more goodies, designed to create the new flagship full-frame mirrorless, landing here on August.

Rumors are that the good news continues here and the A7RII will probably fit in the existing A7II underwater housings.
