The long anticipated successor for the Nikon D700 has just arrived, and it is just as impressive as we expected.

The new Nikon D750 Full Frame camera is the first in a new line of compact, lightweight Full Frame bodies by Nikon. These maintain the high standards set by Nikon for professional video and stills photography, while keeping the camera body itself small, easy to handle and highly ergonomic.

Today, when mirrorless cameras are slowly but surely taking over the enthusiast and even the professional market, Nikon has recognized the importance of a easy to handle, compact system allowing the traveling and working photographer the agility and flexibility needed to unleash his full creativity. The Nikon D750 features a 24.3MP FX CMOS sensor, with excellent image quality and outstanding dynamic range along with the EXPEED 4 image-processing engine.

Video features have improved greatly and Nikon has found a very good balance between stills and video demands for the modern photographer which tends to combine both in his work.

The D750 offers high sensitivity for low lighting scenes (100 -12,800, boosted to 51,200), and along with the advanced functions that are demanded from a high end body, it is also equipped with less common features in a full frame body such as a tilting LCD screen and WiFi connectivity.

The Nikon D750 is available for $2,299.95 (MSRP). We expect housings from the leading manufacturers within 1-2 months as this would be one of the most popular choices for underwater photography for the next few years.

Underwater housings for Nikon D750 will be available here.
