Canon 7D Mark II Is Here!
The 7D‘s long awaited successor, Canon 7D Mark II, is finally here and it’s quite a vast improvement compared to its 5-year-old predecessor.
With the 7D Mark II, Canon has basically taken the 7D and improved every aspect of it. Some of the main improvements include:
- New 20.20 Megapixels APS-C Sensor
- Better ISO Range – 100-51200
- 1080/60p HD Video, MOV or MP4
- Custom Movie Servo AF (Speed and Sensitivity)
- Continuous shooting 10 fps
- Dual DIGIC 6 Processors
- 200,000-cycle shutter life expectancy
- CF (Type I) plus SD card slot
- Built-in GPS with compass
- Touch Screen
- Better weather proofing – 4 times more resistant to water and dust
- More interface and tech improvements.
This is a serious upgrade to Canon’s flagship model and we expect it to be very popular, topside and underwater as well.
The camera body is available now for pre-order and should start shipping on November.
Housings will be available soon after that and you would be able to find them HERE. We expect all major manufacturers to produce underwater housings for the 7D Mark II.
