Bio
I had my first diving experience in 1973. I’ve seen many changes in diving equipment and underwater photography gear since then. Once the realm of just a very lucky few, now everyone has the opportunity to become a great underwater photographer. Today’s equipment, available to all experience levels and budgets, is capable of taking truly breathtaking photos and videos.
I live on Vancouver Island and dive the local sites as often as possible, frequently 2-3 times a week. Once or twice a year, I take a dedicated warm water diving holiday. I have been fortunate to dive the Mediterranean, a great many sites in the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, Fiji and Anilao, Philippines.
Underwater photography has become a passion of mine. I use my photos and videos to give presentations to local community groups and try to promote our sport and respect for our precious natural resources.
