The Sony RX100 III / IV / V are amazing cameras, but their built in macro capabilities aren’t that great.
However, when paired with a quality macro lens (AKA Diopter), you can get incredible results.
The highest quality and ideal magnification power is the Nauticam CMC-2 (Compact Macro Converter 2).
If you’re looking for something more affordable and easier to use, the Inon UCL-165 (+6 diopter) is a solid choice and very popular for years now.
Another popular lens choice is the Fantasea UCL-05, which is also a +6 diopter.
Finally, the UCL-09F is a stronger lens, exceptional quality and just on the edge of what I would recommend for the RX100 in terms of magnification. Unless you’re highly skilled with macro photography, going past +12 is going to be too challenging for you.
I’m not recommending the very powerful ones, since the RX100 III / IV / V is easier to control with a more subtle macro lens, due to the shorter focal range (zoom).
But, if your buoyancy is perfect, and you’re very confident in your skills, challenge yourself with this +23 lens – Kraken KRL-06s.

The title of your article refers to the RX100 111,1V,V but the title according to your email refers to the RX100 V11.Is the info the same despite the extended reach of the 24-200 lens of the later camera?
