One of the best ways to learn photography is to see other photographers’ work. Mozaik looks for some of the best underwater photographers in the world, and showcase their work, along with the gear they use, to help other aspiring photographers improve, learn new skills and get inspired.

About Xavier

I started diving at the age of 15 and at 18 (year 1975) I had a Nikonos III with which I took my first photographs, it was a little more difficult to take pictures than today. Cameras and years went by, Nikonos IV, Nikonos V, Nikon F80, Nikon F90, Nikon D70 etc … until today.

Always together with my wife Mª Alba Camprubi we have traveled to various countries in the world in search of capturing the underwater world in images so that we can teach it to all people interested in knowing the blue universe.

We are both dive instructors and some 2,000 students have trusted us to teach them underwater wonders.

We participate in countless underwater photography contests, getting countless national and international awards, including several Spanish freediving and bottle championships, World Cups, World Cups, Antibes, Hans Hass, etc …

We are collaborators with various underwater magazines although at present mainly only with Divers and Let s Dive Mag. Our photos have been published in the Catalan Encyclopedia, Mondo Sommerso magazine, Barcelona Aquarium, etc, etc.
