One of the best ways to learn photography is to see other photographers’ work. Mozaik looks for some of the best underwater photographers in the world, and showcases their work, along with the gear they use, to help other aspiring photographers improve, learn new skills and get inspired.

About Nani

I’m from Catalonia, Spain, and I usually dive on the Mediterranean Sea, as I consider it my home, but I’ve traveled around the globe to some amazing places such as Malaysia, the Red Sea, Maldives or Philippines, just to name a few.

I love everything related to Macro Photography, and my favourite animals are Nudibranchs. Underwater photography in itself has lots of goals, but my unique aim and perspective of it is the divulgation of this art so everyone can appreciate the beauty of underwater life and how vital it is to preserve it.

Recently, I’ve been awarded a Certificate as a volunteer in a course in Citizen Science, and I’m currently collaborating with different Ambiental Projects with my photos, documenting the biodiversity in several areas of the Mediterranean.

I believe in the power of anonymous divers and UW (underwater) photographers, to help scientists achieve better research data.
