- Backscatter and AOI worked together to design the Backscatter Limited Edition Octo Housing. The most noticeable feature is the cool looking exterior, with the intertwining tentacles of an illustrated octopus wrapped around the housing. Add that to the straightforward operation, well laid-out ergonomics, built-in vacuum system, changeable ports, and affordable price point, this housing is a sure must-have.
- The UH-EM10IV Housing includes a 67mm threaded front port for the Olympus 14-42mm EZ Lens. This can be used with wet wide or macro lenses, as well as dedicated domes or extended dome ports, as well as older Olympus PEN series housing ports.
- Another cool feature of the housing is the Multi-Control Device. This is a USB-rechargeable unit that controls both rapid-fire :ED flash sync and a leak-proof vacuum and moisture detector so you have nothing to worry about underwater. Just connect the device to the cameraís hotshoe for rapid-fire LED flash firing, and seal up the housing and port in order to pump it down
- The Olympus E-PL10 can shoot rapid-fire by completely bypassing its own built-in pop up flash. This also has the benefit of keeping the housing small because there does not need to be room to accommodate the pop-up flash. However, the tradeoff of this rapid-fire benefit is that there is no automatic TTL strobe exposure.
- This kit includes a Flat Port & Zoom Gear for Olympus 14-42mm EZ Lens, Vacuum System, and LED Manual & RC Flash Trigger.
