Control of Camera Functions
The Housing accesses all camera controls except the rear control dial. A gear driven system allows use of the camera's ring function.

Construction Material
This ultra-compact housing is made out of Clear Polycarbonate which provides unobstructed view of the camera's information and control functions with visual confirmation of o-ring seal.

The Nikon Coolpix L24 is an affordable, yet high quality camera, having 14 megapixel resolution, 3.6x optical zoom, 3-way Vibration Reduction and Easy Auto.

14 Megapixels
Extra fine resolution allowing for enlargements of up to 16x20 still with crisp details.

3.6x Optical Zoom
Zoom in that bit further with the lens supplied on the Coolpix L24, giving the equivalent of 37-134mm focal length on a 35mm camera.

Large 3.0 LCD Monitor
A generously sized 3-inch monitor is included with the Coolpix L24 which gives an extra clear view of your images. A brightness boost function gives easier viewing in bright conditions.

3x Anti Blur
Nikon have employed three technologies with this camera to keep your images sharp:

• Electronic VR (Vibration Reduction) compensates for camera shake
• Motion Detection
• BSS (Best Shot Selector) takes 10 frames in rapid succession and picks the sharpest one to save
  

Easy Auto Mode
Let the camera do the work, just set to Easy Auto Mode and the Coolpix L24 makes the picture taking decisions. All you have to do is point, zoom and shoot.

16 Scene Modes
If you prefer more control over your picture taking, there are 16 scene-based modes to choose from which tailor the camera settings to obtain the best results.

Smart Portrait System
This camera employs the Smart Portrait System a feature dedicated to great shots of people. Functions include Smile Timer (fires when your subject smiles), Blink Proof (alerts you when someone has blinked), Skin Softening, and In-camera Red-eye Fix. Also has Face Priority AF which can detect up to 12 faces in a frame.

Movie Mode
The Nikon Coolpix L24 can record movies in VGA (640 x 480 pixels) quality with a smooth frame rate of 30frames per second.
