- Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe. Fail-safe mechanical controls are provided for important camera functions.
- The tray and handles remove with just two nuts for packing. Includes two 3/8-16 threaded stud mounts with wing-nuts for attachment of mounting arms. Optional Stability Base is available for improved handling above water.
- The camera's large viewing screen can be viewed using the External Mirror featured on the side of the housing. Actual image will be reversed when viewed through the mirror. The side-mounted External Mirror is hinged to fold against the housing for travel.
- A magnified Super-Eye Viewfinder is provided for enhanced viewing of the camera's optical viewfinder through a diving mask.
- The included UR/Pro Color Filter provides color correction in tropical blue water with available sunlight up to 80 feet (24 meters). A Green Water Filter (Product Number 6441.81) is also available to achieve more natural tones in green water settings. Color correcting filters may be used with either automatic or manual white balance.

The housing port is threaded allowing the use of 67mm threaded macro lenses.
Due to the nature of the camera's native lens, 67mm threaded wide angle options are not compatible with this installation.
The optional Flat Port for Raynox HDS-680 (Product Number 9306.1) replaces the housing's standard flat lens port to allow the attachment of Raynox DCR-730, DCR-731, or HDS-680 wide angle lenses. These lenses attach to the front of the camera and are not removable underwater.
