Just when I though I have seen everything, mother nature slaps you on the forehead and says “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”.<\/p>\n

The Nautilus project operate a remote deep sea vehicle named Hercules, which recently stumbled upon a creature so amazing, you would never guess it actually exists.<\/p>\n

This “creature”, called a Siphonophore, is actually a colonial organism, consisting of thousands of\u00a0smaller creatures called “zooids”\u00a0and can be found floating around the pelagic zone in ocean basins around the world.<\/p>\n

The rare and unique siphonophore has left the explorers stunned. All have admitted this is something they did not expect and have never seen before.<\/p>\n
