The Lighthouse itself was constructed prior to the Civil War, 8 miles offshore of Key Colona Beach and is still fully functional up to this day.
This reef is protected by the Sanctuary Preservation Area where fishing as well as lobstering are strictly prohibited. It is a home to many different types of aquatic life such as Sharks, stingrays, Parrotfish, grunts, trumpet fish, and yellowtail snappers. And as soon as you descend, gorgonians, brain, finger and lettuce corals starts to show their beauty.

With a maximum depth of 26-30ft /8-9m and the average visibility is 36-40ft/11-12m. This dive site provides a unique and vibrant experience to people who loves snorkeling and diving!
