Featured Underwater Photographer – Mark Genuino

One of the best ways to learn photography is to see other photographers’ work. We try to find some of the best underwater photographers in the world, and showcase their work, along with the gear they use, to help other aspiring photographers improve, learn new skills and get inspired.

This week we will feature the talented Mark Genuino!

About Mark

Mark started scubadiving 1997, bought his 1st UW Camera with Housing Sony Marine Pack back in 2004. Then upgraded to a Canon A570 powershot around 2007-08. He got a little serious with UW Photography around 2009 and bought his first Aluminum housing for Canon S100 and a Sea and Sea Strobe stayed with Point and Shoot until 2017 using a Canon G7x2 with Recsea Housing and Inon Z240 strobes.

He got really hooked with Macro Photography back in 2016 until he upgraded to a DSLR set up, up to this day. Had the honor of shooting UW Photography with the likes of Scott “Gutsy” Tuason, Jun V. Lao, Tim Ho, Ram Yoro and Penn Delos Santos to name a few. And also joined a few UW Photography contest.
