One of the best ways to learn photography is to see other photographers’ work. We try to find some of the best underwater photographers in the world, and showcase their work, along with the gear they use, to help other aspiring photographers improve, learn new skills and get inspired. This week we will feature the talented Andre Baonz!
I’m Andre. I am from Ambon, Maluku. Indonesia. During the weekdays I am in the office, but I will find myself mostly in the water during the weekend or whenever I got a freetime. Simply the perk of living so near the ocean. I started to dive just about 4 years ago. And it took me another two years to get into underwater photography. I mostly took macro pictures. It was just started as an interest, I was amazed of seeing those little tiny creatures. And so, things just starts to roll from there. I did join an underwater photography event held here in Ambon won the first place for Open Macro category and in Manado won the third place for open macro category . And that’s simply beginner’s luck I guess. Since I only had the opportunity of joining that one competition. Would love to join more, though.
