Plastic is killing your photography subjects! (Infographic)
The plastic bags that you consume daily, eventually break down into little pieces and find their way to the oceans.
These bits and pieces of plastic are a death sentence to approximately 100,000 marine creatures annually, who become sick or die from that pollution.
Interesting fact: “In the first year China implemented plastic bag restrictions, it cut plastic bag use by 2/3, eliminating 40 billion bags, which saved the energy equivalent of 11.7 million barrels of oil.” (via: One World One Ocean)
Just imagine that the whole world would do the same…
Here is an infographic illustrating the damaging effects of plastic around the world.
