Sony A6300 Heating Problem Solved!
The Sony A6300 is practically perfect. If you haven’t read our review yet, we’ll only tell you that it’s probably the leading mirrorless camera in the market, a fantastic combination of size and quality, making it an ideal tool for creating both images and videos underwater.
The only complaint we’ve been hearing once in a while is a nasty overheating problem, which occurs when taking longer videos on high resolution. Well, Sony has just released a firmware update which apparently solves most overheating problems! Hurray!
Before updating, make sure your A6300 has version 1.00 installed (Menu > Weird suitcase icon > 7 >Version). The update will install version 1.10, which you can verify after the update.
Updating the firmware is super easy, simply click here, choose your operating system, download the update and follow instructions here. It takes about 10 minutes, so I highly recommend getting the update!
Good luck!
