Ikelite’s New Generation Housings Are Here!

After seeing Ikelite’s cool new look at DEMA this year, we have been patiently anticipating the official release of their new line-up of non-transparent housings, promising better design, lower price point, front loading camera tray for improved ease of use, larger port opening for DSLR’s and more!

A couple of months ago Ikelite released a teaser, the A7II / A7RII / A7SII housing which has been snatched off the shelves as soon as it arrived.

The fresh new material Ikelite is using for their housings is called ABS – PC (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene Polycarbonate). This light gray colored ABS-PC blend provides strength, keeps the camera cooler, and provides superior contrast for enhanced view of the camera, LCD screen, and o-ring seal.
