Ikelite Announces Underwater Housing for Sony A6000!

Breaking news! Ikelite, who recently entered the mirrorless market with housings for Olympus E-M10 and E-PL7, have just announced the arrival of a Sony A6000 Ikelite housing, expected mid/late March!

This is great news for A6000 shooters,  since the housing would be priced competitively at $1049.95 and will create a more affordable solution compared to the existing housings available by Nauticam and Sea & Sea.

Ikelite are well known for their diverse lineup of underwater photography gear and their recent entry to the mirrorless market has been an excellent decision considering the direction the underwater market is headed.

Sony A6000 users can now benefit from Ikelite’s sophisticated strobe system with True TTL, using strobes such as the popular DS51, DS160 and DS161.

The housing will be compatible with Ikelite’s new mirrorless port system. View Mirrorless Port Charts Additional lenses are being added regularly!

An Ikelite quick-release Single Tray will be packaged along with the housing, and the optional Dual Tray can be added for additional lighting or mounting a GoPro.
