Bio
John Roney is an underwater videographer and film editor. He is currently based out of Vancouver Island where he primarily works in documentary and reality TV. When not in the edit suite, John can be found beneath the sea capturing footage of marine life, scuba divers and underwater landscapes. While his diving has taken him across Indonesia, Thailand and Mexico, the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest will always be his home.
John is very passionate about marine conservation, and is currently developing a documentary called 'Beneath the Emerald Sea', highlighting the marine life of Vancouver Island's waters. It is set to be released in Fall 2021.
