The housing provides access to all important camera functions, using larger controls and push buttons which are easy to access even with thick gloves.
This housing is designed, built, and tested in the USA. Ikelite's housings are handmade and individually inspected for fit, function and waterproof integrity.
Maximize the potential of your gear by adding Ikelite's True TTL DS strobes, which work perfectly with the integrated TTL circuit in the housing. Non-Ikelite strobes can be used as well, on manual output only using a dedicated sync cord.
Included Ikelite ICS-5 bulkhead connector with manual hotshoe for reliable electrical triggering of underwater strobes
Optional TTL hotshoe and Nikon TTL Converter (Product number 4301.3) provide TTL operation with compatible Ikelite DS strobes
The camera's built-in flash cannot be fired inside of the housing
Ergonomics
Signature open-groove design suspends the rear o-ring in a natural position that is easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing the o-ring into a channel
Sensitive new trigger lever is extendable for comfortable use when holding the optional right-hand quick release handle

Camera Compatibility
This housing is only compatible with the Nikon D500 DSLR as shipped by the manufacturer. Unless otherwise noted, this housing does not accommodate the use of add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.
Differences in lens and control placement prevent other Nikon DSLR models from being used in this housing. We are not aware of any other models which may be used in or adapted to this particular housing.
