Hi Ran further to my lens cleaning problem I have resolved the issue. I found of all things that Listerine mouth wash removed the film on the lens.
    Cheers Glenn Walsh

    Excellent news Glenn!

I’ll definitely keep that in mind for future customers if they encounter the same issue.

    Thanks and happy shooting!

Hi Ran, what was the initial lens cleaning problem that was solved with Listerine?
    Thanks,
    Victor.

    Hi Victor,

The problem the customer was encountering was weird spots on the lens – similar to salt residue which dried on the lens and was very hard to remove.
    Apparently Listerine did the trick.

Hi again Ran, I have the G7x mark 2 camera, now I need the FG7x2 housing and I want to know if my big eye lens will fit this new housing, and what is the main difference between my big eye and the new Fantasea UWL-09F lens.
Also if I get the Fantasea UCL-05LF +6 Wet Macro Lens, will it fit the Fg7x2 housing?
    Thanks!

    Hi Antonio!

Great to hear from you again.
    Congrats on the new camera!
Yes, the BigEye will fit the new housing as well.
The BigEye is a dome only, as you know, so it only gives you about 25% wider field of view.
The UWL-09F is a fisheye lens + dome, so it’s much much wider than the BigEye. It’s also heavier and includes some high quality optics inside.
Yes, the UCL-05LF, UCL-06LF and UCL-09F will all fit the FG7XII and work great!
I will soon add some results on the blog with the UCL-05LF and UCL-09F. Both excellent lenses!
