| The BlueboxX housing series was specifically developed for Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Pentax and Olympus cameras. The various housings offer the beginning underwater photographer or the seasoned pro an array of adjustment options. All important camera controls have been taken into consideration during production, enabling the enthusiast to take full advantage of all the capabilities modern cameras provide.
High-Tech Material
Composed of special reinforced plastic, the housing BlueboxX can be used up to 60 m of depth of diving (against supplement up to 120 m) the keys and the functions are manufactured out of stainless steel resistant to sea water and are doubly tight by an O ring. Two clasps protected tensioners allow a fast and sour closing the housing. The port is screwed on the housing and is made tight by a 3 mm thickness O ring The handle can be withdrawn easily, this makes it possible to reduce the volume of the unit considerably.
This special plastic from space technology is the material of choice, because of its extreme durability and hardness. It is in use today mostly in astronautics, aviation and motor sports.

Security all the way
The housings are closed with two secured quick-clasps. A 3.5 mm (0.138 in.) thick silicon O-ring and an integrated leak warning system offer greatest possible security. All controls are secured with dual O-rings and made of seawater-resistant stainless steel. Housings are approved to 60 m diving depth and are pressure tested before shipment.
Optimal installation
The camera is held in place on a mounting plate inside the housing and secured with the tripod screw. Installation and removal of the camera is simple and takes only seconds to complete. |
