In business since 1988, we began in the diving industry having made headway as innovators in both designing and manufacturing sophisticated underwater imaging equipment for both recreational and professional videographers.

Over the years our company has seen steadfast growth and market penetration with an expanded reach, which cover three distinct divisions - Amphibico Underwater, Isotherm, and Amphibitech. The Amphibico Group serves all three markets with an expertise gaining us utmost recognition both locally and internationally.

This vision emanates from the top with the President & CEO of Amphibico Group, Ronald T. Hand, who has been successful in various businesses in the past 35 years and who brings a progressive approach that energizes and inspires all employees.

Amphibico Underwater was originally founded in 1988 and was renowned in the industry for innovative designs and advancing underwater imaging technologies. In 1998, in order to expand the growth of the company, its ownership was acquired by Ron and his partner, Paul Benson in a bid to see the company grow, through new market penetration, brand extension and product development.

Since the origins of Amphibico, the Amphibitech Division has been in operation and was set up to facilitate the vertical integration of the company’s manufacturing process. It is now recognized locally as a precision and quality-oriented one stop shop for machining, powder coat painting, pad printing and electronic assembly. The Amphibitech division services both the Amphibico product line, as well as, many other Quebec Company’s needs, in product creation and finishing.

In 2007, the Amphibico Group continued its outreach for specialised product innovation by entering the military market. It acquired Isotherm Inc., a company that designs and manufacturers vehicle-mounted electric appliances for heating and cooling food and beverages.
